The Weatherbit API's multi-datasource approach to weather data allows it to serve the most relevant, and local data possible. Most weather data providers serve only weather station data, which is inappropriate for most use-cases. Station data alone simply cannot capture data about most significant events due to limited station coverage, and quality.
